Salmon & Caviar Blinis

What better way to enter the summer than with a glass of Doe Eyed Queen and these delicious appetisers!

Ingredients:

  • 75g Creme Fraiche

  • 3 Slices of Wholegrain Rye Bread

  • 125g Smoked Salmon

  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt

  • 1 Avocado

  • 1/2 Lime

  • 50g Caviar

Quantity:

  • Approx. 15 Blinis

Time:

  • Preparation: 20 minutes

Directions:

  1. Slice the smoked salmon lengthwise into one inch rolls.

  2. To make the avocado mousse, pop your avocado in a food processor and add a pinch of salt. After a minute squeeze the lime juice into the mixture and leave it to continue to blend for around two minutes until it has a silky texture.

  3. Next, cut your rye bread into small squares and place each of the squares on a serving plate and carefully distribute the crème fraîche and avocado mousse in small circles onto each toast. Then place a roll of the smoked salmon next to the avocado and crème fraîche.

  4. Lastly, spoon the caviar on top of the smoked salmon and serve with a glass of Doe Eyed Queen Sparkling Wine.

Your blinis are now ready to be enjoyed! Pair them with a glass of Doe Eyed Queen for the ultimate luxury snack.
